윈도우10 그래픽 카드 확인 Two ways to check graphics card temperature in Windows 10

A graphics card is a piece of hardware that is essential when we work on video or play games. Recently, following the 3000 series, it has made a lot of progress up to the RTX4000 series and shows tremendous performance. However, no matter how good a graphics card is, temperature is an issue. There is a big risk. 윈도우10 그래픽 카드 확인

Huge resolutions have emerged from QHD -> 4K -> 8K, and graphics cards with high-end specifications have appeared to cover them, but it is inevitable that the temperature will rise. 윤과장의 소소한 일상 이야기

So today, I will learn two ways to check the graphics card temperature on my computer.

Check GPU temperature in Task Manager Performance

The method I am showing you today is based on Windows 10, but the same method is also possible for Windows 11.

Right-click the clock on the bottom bar at the bottom right and click Task Manager to run it.

If Task Manager is launched, click Performance on the top tab to launch it.

If performance is running, you can see performance information such as CPU, RAM, disk, GPU, etc.

If you click the GPU at the bottom to check, you can see that the GPU temperature is displayed at the bottom.

Normally, the temperature is maintained at 30 to 40 degrees, but when playing games, the temperature rises to 60 to 75 degrees. If it exceeds 80 to 90 degrees, you need to compromise on the specifications or undergo an inspection.

Gives you complete control over your PC’s power state for free.

The second method is to learn how to check the temperature using a program.

The program I’m going to introduce to you is called HWMonitor. I’ve posted the link at the top, so click on the free download to run it.

If the installation is complete, you can check that the HWMonitor program has been created.

Let’s run the program.

If the program has been executed, the CPU and board RAM GPU temperatures will all be displayed.

This program provides more accurate and detailed notation than the general task manager.

Because temperatures are stored from minimum to maximum, you can check the minimum and maximum temperatures of your graphics card in real time.

Today, I learned two ways to check the graphics card temperature.

I hope this will be helpful and I will conclude the post.
