클라우드 가격 비교 Let’s compare cloud service prices/plans

Just a few years ago, ‘Cloud’ was spotlighted as a new technology and emerged as a trend. But now, the cloud is getting very familiar.

Even if you don’t have an external hard drive or hardware, you store data in the ‘cloud’ on the Internet and use it a lot!

In particular, it is combined with the ‘subscription economy’, paying monthly subscription fees and using cloud services in large quantities.

I am a Google Drive user, and I would like to post a comparison with other cloud services in relation to the rate plan.

Let’s take a look at the most commonly used Google Drive, Naver My Box, Microsoft One Drive, and Apple iCloud! 클라우드 가격 비교

For reference, this is for general individual users, not for organizations/corporations! The standard is the end of December 2021.

Google Drive (= Google One)

This is Google Drive, commonly referred to as ‘God’. College students also wrote a lot of documents through Google sharing before zoom.

The reason I use Google Drive is because of ‘Google Photos’. If you are a Galaxy user and synchronize with Google Photos, it will be backed up automatically!

You can use up to 100GB if you give up about 1 chicken per year on the basic 15GB. Google Photos is so convenient that it’s an attractive good!

Naver My Box

NAVER provides a cloud service called ‘My Box’. I think the synergy with ‘Naver Membership’ is good.

If you do not have a separate cloud and use Naver membership, I think My Box is the most reasonable!

I think the basic provision is 30GB and the cost for one year is similar to Google in terms of capacity. However, if something goes over 50,000 won psychologically, it does not feel expensive.

Microsoft (MS) OneDrive

Here’s Microsoft’s OneDrive. In the case of OneDrive, if you purchase Office 365, etc., you get a 1TB subscription.

Even in my case, I use 1TB without any burden. If you use Windows or Office as a genuine product, I think OneDrive is good.

The basic provision is 5GB, and 100GB is almost similar in cost to Google Drive.

Apple iCloud

Last is iCloud. In fact, I think iCloud is also suitable for those who use ‘Apple’ devices.

The default provision is 5GB, and if you are using Apple, I would like to use it for large capacity.

Wouldn’t Apple’s biggest strength be synchronization & interlocking? You should enjoy the trinity of iPhone-MacBook-iPad.

concluding

Actually, I don’t think the price difference is significant. There are not as many people who use large quantities as expected!

Therefore, I think the first criterion considered is ‘Which platform do you use the most?’

– Galaxy users: Google Drive

– Apple users: iCloud

– NAVER Membership User: My Box

– PC users: One Drive

I can sort it out in a way. Or, since there is a capacity provided for free, you can use multiple accounts or use all platforms and choose according to your taste.

– Google: 15 GB

– Naver: 30GB

– One Drive: 5GB

– iCloud: 5GB

Therefore, we recommend that you first try Google and Naver for free. Due to the nature of the cloud, if you fill up a lot of capacity once, you may have a problem with continuing to subscribe!

Here’s a brief overview of cloud service pricing. It seems that the ‘subscription model’ is slowly getting used to. We wish all of you to be smart consumers!
