What if you have already logged in and installed? Just delete the account and revert to a local account. I’ll take Windows 11 as an example. If you want to set it up with Windows 10, the process is the same, so you can just look at the settings and follow it.
First, press the Windows button and enter the cog wheel [Settings].
Then, click [Account] on the left menu and then click [User Information].
Then, in the Central account settings section, you will see the [Sign in with a local account instead] item. Please click on the relevant item.
If you need a backup, close it and click Backup. If you simply want to change to a local account, click the [Skip this step] button and when a window appears asking if you want to switch to a local account, click the [Next] button.
Now you just need to enter your PIN number. If you know the PIN number, you can enter it. If you can’t remember it and only know your Microsoft account, you can log in with your MS account by clicking [Choose another option].
In the next step you can now set a username and password to use as a local account. If you do not want to use a password, leave it blank and click the [Next] button.
Finally, if you click [Logout and Finish], you can see that the Microsoft account is deleted and changed to a local account.
