After coming to Korea, I changed my kt m mobile rate plan, which used to cost 1,900 won per month. In fact, no matter how much I search now, there is no plan for 1,900 won per month, so I tried to keep the existing line and get a new number. However, there was a problem, but to use 2sim in Korea, there was no option other than tplus because the iPhone supports esim, not a phone that supports physical sim.
Tplus esim internet use
I tried to use the Tplus 10gb 7,500 won rate plan for insufficient data after receiving a call on the existing line, but when I received the call, the data line was unavailable. Therefore, it was decided to change the existing line plan to a slightly more expensive plan. The line created as an experiment naturally turned into a business phone. This wasn’t bad either. kt m mobile plan 윤과장의 소소한 일상 이야기
I think I was really good at changing the existing kt line to m mobile before going abroad. The reason is that roaming may not be possible in the case of most budget plans. Maybe it’s because it’s directly managed by kt, but I think I spent a lot of money overseas with a monthly rate of 1,900 won. Even if there was a roaming fee, it was incomparably small compared to the tens of thousands of won in Korea.
Hello~! 1900 won plan
When leaving from Korea to Turkey for a long-term business trip and almost half of the immigration, 1,900 won or more seems really good. If you go to the country, you will get a local line and use it, but if you connect to a Korean site abroad and sign up as a member to live as a Korean, roaming on a Korean line is essential to get authentication. I thought 1900 won was a really groundbreaking rate. After coming to Korea, I could use 500mb of data for 60 minutes of voice, but I felt that it was somewhat lacking, so I changed to a rate plan that allows unlimited use with unlimited voice and text and 7gb of data with a speed limit when exhausted.
kt m mobile data sharing
Originally, I was using kt, but after moving to kt m mobile, I couldn’t use the sim I received through existing data sharing. However, after arriving in Korea, I looked it up and found out that m-Mobile also supports data sharing! Previously, it was not available in the 1900 won plan, but with the new plan, you can create another sim and use data sharing. With this, I was able to give a new life to my iPad or phone that was only looking for wi-fi.
How to apply for data sharing
For data sharing, in the existing kt, I had a memory that just went to the kt store and applied for it, and it was made right away. However, m-mobile was a budget phone, so I wonder if Korea has changed while I was abroad. I just bought a SIM card and registered the SIM card information on the website. Sim cards are often sold at convenience stores in Seoul and downtown. However, now that I live in the province, I just received it by mail. It took two full days, but Korean courier and delivery were really fast, so it was worth the wait.
The Tplus skt line and the m-mobile kt line were used in the iPhone 13 mini. It was nice to be able to use a mobile phone at a really cheap price because the affordable rate plan was also very common. Of course, it’s sad that the rates of major telecommunications companies abroad were cheaper than Korean cheap phones, but I was satisfied with both speed and stability.
